Bugatti unveils the new Tourbillon car - unlimited power with 1775 horsepower

Bugatti has unveiled its latest car, the Tourbillon Hybrid, which represents a qualitative shift in the world of Bugatti cars with hybrid technology. Unlike its predecessor, the Chiron, unlike the quad-turbo W16 engines in the Bugatti Chiron, Bugatti's next-generation super sports car, the Tourbillon, is powered by an all-new 8.3-liter aspirated V16 engine. The Natural Air – designed with the help of Cosworth – is coupled to a front e-axle with two electric motors and an electric motor mounted on the rear axle and provides an electric range of up to 60 km, with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The car can achieve 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2 seconds and reach a top speed of 445 km/h when using the gear switch.

The Bugatti Tourbillon design blends traditional engineering with modern efficiency

The tourbillon design combines sophistication and modernity and retains the iconic Bugatti elegance with modern touches such as vertical doors and a central line that runs the length of the car. The rear design includes an illuminated Bugatti name integrated into a split LED strip. Inside, the car maintains the standards of luxury worthy of the Bugatti brand and provides many features such as electrically adjustable pedals and a fixed-axle steering wheel that includes unique meters designed in cooperation with Swiss watch experts with a combination of well-known traditional features and advanced modern innovations. We believe that the most beautiful and elegant design feature in the car came thanks to the fixed location of the speedometers in the middle of the steering wheel and close to the driver.

Watch connoisseurs will recognize tourbillons as mechanical pieces used in high-quality watches to increase accuracy. Bugatti sees the tourbillon as a grand, timeless work of mechanical perfection. This becomes readily apparent when you open the electrically operated dihedral doors to see the car's stunning interior, where three large dials mounted on the steering wheel display everything from speed to engine revs, fuel volume, engine temperature and more. There's not a screen in sight. Designed and manufactured by Switch watchmakers, the gauges are permanently mounted to the steering column so they remain stationary while you turn the steering wheel. Meanwhile, on the center console you'll find a set of aluminum switches, rotary dials, and a single crystal lever to operate the V-16 engine. The purpose of all this is to give the Tourbillon a timeless look, but there is a digital display hidden at the top of the center console that, upon request, will rotate upward to give the driver access to Apple CarPlay, among other things.

The price of the new Bugatti Tourbillon

Although we see the car today, that era won't begin until 2026 when the first 250 production cars will be delivered. Currently, the Tourbillon's starting price is €3.6 million (about $3.9 million at current exchange rates).
