Kayan Egypt Company for Trade and Investment, the local agent for the Spanish Cupra brand in Egypt, announced the launch of its two new Formonitor crossover and Leon hatchback sports cars, each of which features a new and attractive appearance with a modern interface, advanced high-tech technologies inside the cabin, and a powerful engine.

New specifications for both Formonitor and Leon cars.

The two cars feature a new shape for the front end of both models. They received a new Cobra logo installed on the edge of the hood, triangular LED matrix headlights, and were also equipped with modified LED taillights and an illuminated Cobra logo.

New Cobra cars have an expanded propulsion program with E-Hybrid versions to give you power in a Formentor of up to 245 kW/h, equivalent to 333 horsepower.

The Leon comes with an E-Hybrid system, with its power reaching 221 kW/h, equivalent to 300 horsepower.

As for the power and performance system of the Cupra cars in the last generation, the Leon was based on a 2.0-liter engine with a power of 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Newton metres. The engine is connected to a seven-speed DSG transmission so that it reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. While its maximum speed reaches 230 km/h.

The Formentor was based on a 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder engine connected to a turbocharger capable of generating 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Newton metres. The engine is connected to a seven-speed DSG transmission, so that the car reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, while its maximum speed reaches 218 km/h.

Many modifications were made inside the cabin of the Cupra Formentor and Leon, so that the cabin now includes a redesigned central control unit, a larger size for the entertainment and data display screen up to 12.9 inches, with a high-performance audio system with twelve speakers, as for the interior upholstery.
